The Channels District still has no representatives, and the Eagle Point district has only one representative, on the JLA Board -- please think about volunteering for one of these positions!

At its January 9^th meeting the Jordan Lake Improvement Board voted a one-year fifty-percent (50%) decrease in weed control assessments.

  BIG NEWS -- for Lake Residents and Property Owners!   On October 27, 2006 Ionia County Circuit Judge Hoort ordered (in part):

                "...IT IS FURTHER ORDERED that the operation of the Jordan Lake Dam shall take place in a manner consistent with the
                "Jordan Lake Dam Operation Plan" dated October 2006 prepared by Spicer Group, Inc., with amendments from time to
                time as approved by the delegated authority pursuant to recommendation of a professional engineer."
